HS-SES has far too many features for us to describe them here, and we recommend you let us give you a free web-demo so you get a full understanding of the scope. However a brief overview of the systems capabilities includes:
- Enter and update Student Profiles, including the information needed to execute meaningful job searches
- Create and edit Employer Records with addresses, contact information and default job information
- Set-up and modify Job Postings, including requirements which will help identify appropriate students.
- Search for jobs for a student, or students to fill a job. Use the criteria in the job and student records, or modify it at will.
- Control Volunteer/Staff access to the system with secure passwords and different levels of access for different types of users.
- Automatically schedule your staff taking into account school holidays, and notify them automatically by e-mail if their schedule changes.
- Review incoming e-mail and send outgoing e-mail through the system. All staff can see the e-mail correspondence sent and received for a given employer or student, leading to fewer misunderstandings.
- A menu of Pre-formated e-mails to save time.
- Send Broadcast E-Mails to groups of volunteers, students or employers.
- Access important information, such as Working Rules for Minors and How to Apply for Working Papers.
- On-Line Access for Students allows students to update their own profile, search for jobs or review jobs they've looked at in the past.
- On-Line Access for Employers lets employers add their own jobs, or update jobs that are already posted.
- Follow-up reports: Jobs that have been open for a long time, students who really need a job, review of significant changes made by employers or students - enough to ensure everything's on track.
- Statistics on Job pay by category, gaps between what jobs students want and what kind employers are looking to fill, and where jobs are vs. where students are.
